The page in detail

Five blocks, in the order the questions come.

  1. Patient snapshot

    Two or three lines saying who is sitting in front of the doctor and what they live with. The paragraph a stand-in who has never met you needs.

  2. Active medications

    Name, dose, since when. Anything newly added is colour-flagged so it does not disappear among the long-standing entries.

  3. Timeline

    Diagnoses, procedures, hospital stays and medication changes in the order they happened. Dated as far as a date appeared in the documents.

  4. Questions to discuss

    Your own questions, written down and tickable. They sit on the page so they do not get lost during the appointment.

  5. Sources used

    Which file fed which part of the page. So a doctor can look up what a line rests on, instead of having to take it on trust.

Limits

What the brief does not do, and never will.

  • No diagnosis

    The brief names no condition that was not already in your documents, and suggests no treatment.

  • Nothing without a source

    Every block says which file it came from. What was in no document is not on the page either.

  • Nothing is left lying around

    Uploaded files are deleted after processing unless you explicitly save something.
